Due to engineering work and station construction works at Bedlington, the Northumberland Line rail services will be replaced by buses over the Easter Weekend (Friday 18th to Monday 21st April inclusive).

Buses will leave Ashington & Newcastle at the same time as the trains would usually depart on these days, but the journeys will take longer and departure times from Newsham and Seaton Delaval stations will be at different times. Manors station won't be served by the rail replacement bus services.

At Ashington, rail replacement buses will leave from the drop off bay adjacent to the platform.

At Newsham, rail replacement buses will leave from the bus stop in the station car park (close to the Newcastle bound platform) in both directions.

At Seaton Delaval, rail replacement buses will leave from the bus stops on the main road (A192) with buses to Newcastle on the Coop side of the road and buses towards Ashington on the station side of the road.

At Newcastle, buses will depart from the station short stay car park (outside Sainsburys Local) which is to the west at Central Station.

We'd advise that customers check their journey on the Northern App or website for journeys over the Easter Weekend. Information on the location of rail replacement bus stops are shown on the onward connections posters on display at each Northumberland Line station.
