We will be completing the installation and testing of essential safety equipment at North Seaton Level Crossing (see image below for location) in advance of the re-opening of the Northumberland Line on the following dates and times.
· From 10pm on Saturday 27 July to 10pm on Tuesday 30 July (24/7).
· From 10pm to 6am each night from Monday 5 August, to 6am Thursday 8 August.
· From 11pm Thursday 8 August to 7am Friday 9 August.
· From 10pm to 6am each night from Friday 9 August, to 6am Thursday 15 August.
· From 11pm Thursday 15 August to 7am Friday 16 August
The works will require a full road closure for vehicles at the level crossing. A diversionary route, which has been agreed with the council, will be clearly sign posted.
There will be no pedestrian access across North Seaton Level Crossing between 10pm on Saturday 13 July to 10pm on Tuesday 16 July. A shuttle bus will be provided to support pedestrian users during this closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the overnight works between Monday 5 August and Friday 16 August.

We understand that working near your homes and working overnight is far from ideal and we are sorry in advance for any disruption these essential works may cause. Our teams have been briefed and will be mindful when carrying out this work, making sure all the relevant mitigations are in place to avoid excess noise.
