To allow for the delivery of the precast concrete units for the new Northumberland Line platform, we are politely requesting that you do not park your vehicle on Algernon Drive between 9am and 4pm from Monday 20 January 2025 to Friday 24 January 2025.
During this period the area marked in red below will be blocked off via temporary traffic management in the form of cones. This is to enable to the long-articulated vehicle making the delivery to manoeuvre safely.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We have explored all the available options to ensure the safe delivery of these units and unfortunately this is the most appropriate method to allow us to complete this activity.
Please note that we expect that the crane at Northumberland Park will be in use more than usual whilst the platform units are delivered.
