In partnership with Network Rail, we joined in to help to share important messaging on rail safety for young people at the Junior & Mini Great North Run in Newcastle.
Keeping everyone safe is a crucial part of the return to passenger services on the Northumberland Line and we engaged with just under 600 families across a very warm day on the Quayside. That engagement included a rail safety quiz for young people, with books to take away to support the safety message, as well as the chance for pictures with Network Rail or British Transport Police hats and uniform.
