Siemens join the Northumberland Line team. The contract awarded to Siemens Mobility covers signalling and control infrastructure, allowing the line to be converted from freight only to one that serves both freight and passenger services. They will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of all telecoms, lineside infrastructure and power upgrades.
